Universities offer a unique insight into their communities, the challenges they face and provide valuable connections to talent and social entrepreneurship. The Ford Family Foundation has successfully worked in collaboration with UK universities to identify and connect with regional social enterprises that address societies most prevalent issues and have an ambition to scale.

To date, we have developed key relationships with Manchester, Wolverhampton and University of York leading to both successful grant donations and supporting social impact projects and events. Through 2023 the Ford Family Foundation will actively expand its university relationships to champion social entrepreneurship across the UK.
